Welcome to the Template Website builder. This builder allows you to choose a base template and layouts for the inner pages of your website. Once you have chosen the style and colour, our team will customise the template to your specifications and set up your new website.
Your template will consist of a home page template and an inner page variation which you can choose a number of different page layouts for.
To make the process go smoothly, you should be ready to choose or provide the following elements – though if you are in a hurry, you can add them later.
Home Template (This is an example only)

1. Logo. If you have a logo, have it handy in an image or .doc file to upload to the system. If it is on a white background, our artists can cut the logo out and combine it with the template background. If you don't have a logo, you can order logo design later or provide your own logo later 2. Does your business have a slogan? If so, it will go in the top of the template in approximately this position. You can always add this later. 3. It is important that potential clients or customers can contact you. We recommend you have a telephone number handy to go on the front of your website. If you don't, we can just leave it blank. 4. Header image or 'hero shot'. This is an image that sets the tone for your site and represents your business activity. You can select one from our library of generic images and preview it in your template or go to an online photo library like www.istockphoto.com and buy one for as little as $2. 5. Some templates have text over the hero shot – again this is a slogan or important information about your company, product or service. If you choose this, the artist will find an appropriate place on your image to place it.

The inside template variation is usually very much like the home page layout, except it does not have the 'hero shot' or header image. This makes it easier to organise information in those pages and people can find the information they want quickly.
6. Top Level Menu items. Most websites are organized under a handful of top level menu pages. The other pages appear in drop-down menus once you hover your mouse over the top level ones. |
